Accounts Officer

Job Specifications:

  • Location: Ogun | Nigeria.


Job Description:

Administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records of all daily transactions
  • Prepare balance sheets
  • Process invoices
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Update internal systems with financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Track bank deposits and payments
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Review and implement financial policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • B.Sc. or HND in Finance / Accounting
  • Higher educational qualification/professional certification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage
  • 2 – 6 years of relevant work experience in the Accounting or Finance function.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, preferably SAP.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good data gathering, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.


Assistant General Manager - Quality Assurance, Research & Development

Job Specifications:


Job Description:
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance Department, ensuring adherence to quality targets set for both materials in process and finished product.
  • To ensure the product conforms to NIS specifications.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Devise and review specifications for products or processes
  • Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
  • Liaison with external regulatory agencies and auditors
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
  • Approve the right products or reject defectives
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
  • Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
  • Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
  • Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
  • Perform any other duty that is assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • M.Sc. (Chemistry) / HND or B.Sc. (Chemical Eng.)+ 21 Yrs experience.
