Job Description

An Interior Design company is hiring a customer service representative who will attend to customers and their complaints and questions, providing them with information about the company, products, and services offered and taking and processing orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Managing incoming phone calls from customers
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Building sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
  • Knowing the company and products inside and out to always provide accurate, valid and complete information.
  • Handling customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; following up to ensure resolution
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customers accounts, and file documents
  • Taking the extra mile to engage customers.



Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the Knowledge, Skill, and/or ability required to perform this job satisfactorily
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Ability to handle pressure and effectively manage difficult situations professionally especially with customers
  • Social media knowledge is an added advantage
  • Passion for interior design and customer service
  • Good command of English
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
  • Ability to be empathetic, patient, and calm
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • ​Must be passionate about aesthetics and beauty in all things, especially the environment and interiors.
